Calgary Stampede is excited to present for 2023, the Calgary Stampede Ladies Barrel Racing Qualifier June 7-8, 2023 at the Nutrien Western Event Centre. Competitors will have the opportunity to run for a chance at competing at the 2023 Calgary Stampede Rodeo.

Event Details
Event Format is based on 1st Go Round, Progressive Semi Finals and Finals. Calgary Stampede Qualified positions will be based on a 3 run average. A minimum of 4 Qualifier positions will be held for the 2023 Calgary Stampede Rodeo.
Go Round 1: All competitors entered will run in Go Round 1 on Wednesday
Semi Finals: The top 70% of the competitors from Go Round 1 will advance to Semi Finals on day 2 (Thursday).
Finals: The top 25 competitors based on a 2 run average will advance to the Final round.
The final round will be held a minimum of 1 hour following Go Round 2.
The invited Calgary Stampede qualifiers will be selected based on the fastest runs from a 3 run average.
All positions filled will be based on the final results from the Qualifier Event.
* Only one qualifying position is available per barrel racer regardless number of entries per competitor.

Online entries are open from May 8, 9:00 AM MST and close May 25, 4:00 PM MST.
All entries must be done through the Calgary Stampede entry site. Only digital entry forms will be accepted. No emails or calls will be accepted as official entries.
A maximum of 400 entries will be taken for the Qualifier event.
Should the entries exceed 400, second or third entries will be removed at random draw and refunded.
No late entries will be accepted.
All competitors must agree to the Exhibitor Agreement and the Calgary Stampede Animal Care Codes at the time of entry.

Anyone entering Canada must have a valid Passport.

Non-residents of Canada will be subject to a 15% withholding tax on all prize monies awarded as required by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). If transporting animals into Canada, you must ensure all requirements are met to bring animals into Canada for competition.
