Featuring elite talent and high-stakes competition, the Rocky Mountain Cup showcases the very best the sport has to offer.

The action continues later this summer as the Calgary Stampede Team Roping returns for its second year on August 27–29, 2026, welcoming ropers of all levels to compete in the historic Calgary Stampede Rodeo Arena.
Competitors will have the opportunity to rope in multiple numbered divisions, including #10.5 and #8.5, with added money and championship prizes, all while competing in one of rodeo's most legendary venues.
The event gets underway on Thursday, August 27, with Junior events, providing young competitors the opportunity to showcase their skills before the weekend's numbered divisions take center stage.

Divisions
- 10.5 Division with an 8.5 Incentive
- 10.5 Over 40 Division
- * New - #12.5 Slide
*Global Handicap Memberships will be lead membership and number for entry. Team Roping Canada memberships will be accepted only if contestant does not have an active Global membership.
Competitors in these divisions will compete for:
- Champion saddles for headers and heelers in the 10.5 and 8.5 divisions
- Buckles for reserve champions
- Additional cash prizes to reward top finishes
Junior Divisions - youth ropers will have opportunity to compete in the following events:
- Team Roping (10.5 and Open)
- Tie-Down Roping
- Breakaway Roping
