The Calgary Stampede introduced an exciting new event in 2025: the inaugural Reining Showcase. This event highlights the precision, athleticism, and partnership between horse and rider as they perform intricate maneuvers such as spins, sliding stops, and rollbacks. Reining, often described as western dressage, demands exceptional control and finesse, making it a captivating spectacle for audiences. The addition of the Reining Showcase underscores the Stampede's commitment to celebrating diverse equestrian disciplines and providing fresh, engaging content for attendees.
