Class Additions: June 14 @ 4:00 PM - Class additions are only for horses who are already entered before the official closing date of May 31, 2024. No new horses may be added post May 31.

Prize Money Distribution

AMHA Classes (paid per judge) - 1st $30, 2nd $25, 3rd $20, 4th $15
Gamblers Choice Class (Non AMHA) - $400 TAKES ALL!
Highest points earned from clear jumps determines the winner.
Supreme Halter Horse - $375 (per judge)
The determination of Canadian National Champions and high point awards will be made by an accumulation of points earned from both judges in their respective divisions. In the event of a tie, the placings of the call judge will take priority. Canadian National Champions will be awarded in the following categories:
Junior Halter Mares, Senior Halter Mares
Junior Halter Stallions, Senior Halter Stallions
Junior Halter Geldings, Senior Halter Geldings
Stock Horse, Single Pleasure Driving Horse, Roadster Driving Horse, Country Pleasure Driving Horse, Classic Pleasure Driving, Supreme Halter Horse
Canadian National Halter Champions (Junior and Senior Champion Mares, Junior and Senior Champion Stallions, Junior and Senior Champion Geldings) will compete for the title of Canadian National Supreme Halter Horse. Flower garlands will be awarded to the Canadian Champions and the Supreme Halter Horse.
Ribbons will be awarded as per AMHA rules for placings under both judges.
Grand Champion buckles awarded.
High Point Buckles for 7 & Under, Youth 8-12, Youth 13-18 and Amateur. Points calculated are based on each horse/handler combination. Handlers may exhibit more than one horse but points earned from showing multiple horses will not be combined.
High Point Individual Go Buckle – Open classes, one horse/handler. Open Halter Obstacle, Open Driving Obstacle, Open Versatility, Open Liberty, Open Hunter, Open Jumper, Open Barrel Race and Open Stake Race classes to count.
Jim Rodgers Youth Sportsmanship Award – Perpetual Trophy
Anyone entering Canada must have a valid Passport.

Non-residents of Canada will be subject to a 15% withholding tax on all prize monies awarded as required by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Non-residents of Canada may apply to the CRA to have the 15% withholding tax returned. To file a claim with the CRA, complete and submit the following information:
Transportation Of Animals & Importing Livestock
If transporting animals into Canada, you must ensure all requirements are met to bring animals into Canada for competition.

Biosecurity Protocols
We take the health and safety of your animals very seriously at the Calgary Stampede. As such, for 2024, a mandatory submission of a Biosecurity Form for all exhibitors is required.
