Youth Veterinary Science Challenge

This two-day competition is open to students in grades 9-12 and will take place at the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Campus, Alberta's only veterinary school. The inaugural challenge is scheduled for Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7.

This opportunity will help youth develop and apply practical skills in the field of animal science. This is a can’t miss event for aspiring animal science professionals and youth agricultural producers to not only grow their own skills and understanding, but to network and get a firsthand experience at the only veterinary school in the province.

Participants will be awarded with cash and prizes for taking part in this experience and testing their abilities in a competitive, but encouraging environment.

This event is a collaboration between the Calgary Stampede and the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
