Alberta Open Farm Days is an opportunity to visit farms & ranches that brings Albertans together, and we want you to be our guest. You’ll come away knowing your rural neighbours a little bit better and how food gets from the farm to your table.

Don’t miss your chance to visit the Calgary Stampede’s historic OH Ranch, as we open the gates to the public for an educational experience as part of the province-wide 2019 Alberta Open Farm Days. A working ranch for more than 130 years, the 8,000 acre ranch is located on the Highwood River, west of Longview. Guests will learn about the history of the ranch and how it contributes to the Calgary Stampede legacy. Learn how the OH Ranch is preserving western heritage, while remaining a working cattle ranch and responsible steward of the land.
